The Story

This is a truck with a story to tell. This late 1974 full-door Dodge Ramcharger is rumored to have been a County Sheriff rig from somewhere in Southeast Utah. While we can't confirm it, the truck has the rugged, no-nonsense presence to back it up. It’s a true survivor from the early days of the Ramcharger, a 4x4 built for serious duty. We rescued it as a project, but our focus has been pulled in other directions.

Under the Hood & On the Road

The engine is a 318 V8 with a Carter 2-barrel carburetor, paired with a 727 automatic transmission and a proper 4x4 transfer case. The big news is that we recently got the engine running. Even better, the transmission engages in both Drive and Reverse. Please note, the truck has no keys. We have not had a chance to test it on the road, so its full driving condition beyond that is unknown.

We believe in full transparency. Life has made us too busy to give these tin grilles the full attention they deserve. We have decided to offer this one to the market as-is, in the current condition as pictured. The recent development of getting it running is a massive step forward, but it will be up to the new owner to take it to the next level.

The truck is not kept on a public lot. We bring it to the dealership from a private, secure location specifically for your scheduled viewing. This allows us to have a personal, one-on-one conversation about this truck and prevents any interruptions.

For this reason, we cannot accommodate casual drop-ins. We appreciate your understanding and respect for this process, which allows us to provide a proper one-on-one experience for serious buyers.

This truck holds a clean and clear Utah title in our dealership's name. All transactions will go through our licensed dealership as required. Utah residences are subject to sales tax.

All viewings are held at the dealership and are scheduled by appointment only.
